Despite the global pandemic and its challenges, the COAISL is committed to provide timely educational events which are designed to disseminate knowledge and share expertise in anaesthesia, critical care, pain medicine and resuscitation science.
As we move towards a ‘new normal’ situation created by the COVID-19 crisis, the virtual congress will provide local and overseas members, trainees, and delegates a unique opportunity to learn and share educational and scientific content at their comfort and convenience from their home or place of work.
The key highlights of the virtual event include live plenary sessions, symposia, debates and workshops. Audio-video recorded free paper and poster presentations can be viewed by visiting the virtual gallery at the convenience of congress attendees. The industrial exhibition on this virtual platform can be accessed to learn more on latest products, resources, technologies and services. Display of live or recorded industrial symposia featuring innovative products and services will be yet another feature during this session.
I am confident that you will enjoy and benefit from this stimulating and multidisciplinary programme and I am certain that, together, we will make this conference another “runaway success”.
Finally, on a personal note I wish to take this opportunity to thank all of you working tirelessly during challenging times to provide healthcare services to the community. In times like these, it is vital that we stay and work together, support each other and look after ourselves. I wish you and your families good health and the very best.
Along with the organizing committee, I look forward to welcoming all our delegates to this congress.
